Spring!

You can tell it was spring last week because I picked this much asparagus already. It was delicious!

In other news, after "February is for Finishing" was over, I decided to cast on a bunch of new things.
Here they are in progress:
Hitchhiker scarf with a Crazy Zauberball
This little scarf is for me!

New slippers for my mom.

I already made her slippers at Christmas, but she needed more.  These are the leftover yarn from my felted handbag.

Rose ribs sock which has been "in progress" for Quite Some Time Now.
I also made a pair of plain sport-weight cotton socks for a friend, but I didn't take a picture. Oops.

February Lady Sweater
This is my first adult-size sweater, although it's very similar in construction to the sweaters that I've made for babies.  It's Misti Alpaca, and I cast it on February 29 since it's a February Lady pattern.  Three other friends are also making it now.  Maybe we'll all get them done by the time vacation rolls around.  Along with our fall leaves socks...  Perhaps I should be knitting now instead of doing this.

PS I won a prize one week in the Life in Cleveland February is for Finishing contest and it was the best one!  A skein of her beautiful hand-dyed sock yarn in the "Frozen Great Lake" colorway.
